How Information is Collected

(1) Passive Information Collection

Certain information is collected when you interact with our sites. This can be information related to your IP address and your geographical location. We make use of Cookies to collect information passively. This information may be collected whether you are signed up to Company sites or not. Please note that we do not collect any information passively that may identify you personally.

The site is maintained in the United States of America. If you are located outside of the United States, any information you provide to us may be transferred to the United States where our databases are maintained. Children’s Privacy

Company sites are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. We will only process personal information that is necessary for the purposes described above. Any personal information unnecessary for the above purposes will be promptly disposed of or rendered anonymous.

Data retention period

Your personal information will only be retained by us for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing as described above, or as necessary for the purposes of the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims and keeping accounting records of Welpida and its affiliates, and fulfillment of legal obligations applicable to Welpida and its affiliates. Please bear in mind that the statute of limitations and other applicable laws may vary by jurisdiction. The information will be deleted or rendered anonymous after these periods expire.

Disclosure and sale of personal information

Each category of personally identifiable information described above will be disclosed for business purposes and to the extent necessary for Welpida to fulfill its obligations under applicable law.

  • Personal information may be processed by our employees authorized to process personal information for the purposes described above.
  • Personal information may be shared with professionals, law firms, and notaries for auditing and due diligence activities. Such parties may act as independent data handlers or controllers.
  • Please note that Welpida does not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Welpida will promptly notify you if this practice changes.

Assignment

In the event that all or part of our assets is sold or acquired by another party, or in the event of a merger, we retain the right to assign the personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information we have collected on you via the Company sites.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Utah, excluding without resort to its conflicts-of-law principles. Please note that your use of Company sites may be subject to other local, state, national, and international laws. Nevada

Welpida does not sell your personal information. If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to submit a request for your personal information or direct us not to make any sale of your personal information. However, to request email confirmation that we do not sell your personal information, please send an email to [email protected] with ‘Nevada Privacy Request’ in the subject line and in the body of your message. We will respond to your request via email.

Virginia

  • You have the right to the foregoing information free of charge up to twice annually; however, unfounded, excessive, or repetitive requests may be assessed a reasonable fee to cover administrative costs.
  • You have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for purposes of (i) targeted advertising; (ii) sale of the personal data; or (iii) profiling.

You are protected by law against any form of discrimination should you choose to exercise your rights under the VCDPA.

If we notify you that we decline to take action on your request, either within an initial 45-day period or a 45-day extension, you have a right of appeal. You can exercise that right of appeal by contacting Welpida at the email address or street address below within thirty (30) days of receiving notice that we have declined to take action on your request. Within 60 days of receiving your appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decision. If the appeal is denied, we will provide you with an online mechanism, if available, or other methods through which you may contact the Attorney General to submit a complaint.
